2.You are not brushing your teeth long enough. You can use a timer. Brush one side of your teeth for 2 minutes just to give ample time for fluoride to react to your teeth. It is the recommended time by dentists. It is not about just hitting every tooth.

3.Try not to rinse it with water. Even if you brush for two minutes, you spit it out, gargle with water; you are taking half of the fluoride out of your mouth. The fluoride must stay inside the mouth. Using a mouthwash is a way around this technique, because you can rinse your mouth even after brushing. The fluoride will now stay inside your mouth even after you use a mouthwash. After brushing, forget about rinsing with water. Just spit it out and get use to that feeling.

7.Do not use a hard tooth brush. Go with soft. This is a small issue actually amongst dentists. You are trying to get off some of the meat or food that gotten stuck in and around your teeth. The goal is not to shine your teeth up. Brushing them to shine them is not the main objective here. Hard and even medium toothbrushes are going to damage your gums.
